These photos are courtesy of Pasquale Rosa. The CEMS Timing Controller cabinet housed a 4 channel voltage-controlled mixer fitted into a 19" rack adapter.


It differed from other Moog modules in that it utilized a wood frame to hold plug-in cards.



With the cards removed you can see the various edge connectors for interconnect.


The channel cards contains four VCAs for each of the output buses.


The silver cans are MC1439 op-amps and the black cans are TD101 dual NPN transistors.


Note the unique way of soldering the op-amps.


The controller cards have edge connectors on both sides and contain the four channel mixers for final output.
