This customer wanted a MOTM-440 in an Aries format. I needed to use small knobs and designed the panel to match the layout of other similar Aries modules. This is a FrontPanelExpress printed panel.

I bought the parts kit less panel and brackets from Synthcube and made my own bracket out of 0.050" aluminum. I made a MOTM to Dotcom power adapter for his cabinet.

Operation

The MOTM modules are a dream to build and operate quite well. I modified the module to operate on Aries 10V CVs for the resonance, FM1 and FM2 inputs. This scope image shows a very nice filtering of a square back to the fundamental sine.

This scope image shows less filtering with resonance. This filter can get a bit hot so the input has been attenuated a bit.

The filter will self-oscillate from 21 Hz to 21 KHz. It won't self-start at 21 Hz but you can adjust it lower once started. Below 21 Hz the amplitude begins to drop.
