I've attended the Pacific Northwest Synth-DIY meeting in Renton as a spectator.  I saw the notice for the Portland Synth-DIY meeting at the Cleaners at the Ace Hotel on November 3, 2010.  I thought it would be fun to attend and finally meet so many that I know only by email and forums.

Below is a photo of the setup I took.  I kept my first synth cabinet so I would have a portable cabinet.  It holds 20U modules and 2U 19" rack modules.  I met a lot of great people and demonstrated:
